My name is Ajay Khanna, and I am a 2024 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development. My path toward psychology is rooted in personal experience—after spending much of my life undiagnosed with OCD and ADHD, I developed a deep curiosity about the mind and the various ways that people heal, particularly people with marginalized backgrounds and identities.
This led me to explore not only evidence-based treatments like exposure therapy, but also holistic and integrative methods such as EFT tapping, diet, and neuroplasticity-based approaches to rewiring thought patterns. Aware that there were ways that people responded to disorders prior to advanced Western psychological practices, I remain curious about the integration of homeopathic psychological methods and more conventional approaches.
I am passionate about advancing a model of psychological care that is both scientifically rigorous and responsive to the complexities of each individual.
My academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of clinical research, mind-body practices, and inclusive, culturally-attuned care. I am excited to contribute to a field that continues to evolve—and to help shape a future where psychological treatment reflects the full spectrum of human experience.
